The HC Mini Omega® Joint
The range of the HC-Mini Omega joint is especially designed for applications in, lighter use industrial floors on elevated bearing slabs, stage floors, various commercial applications, parking structures, and also in light, small industrial floors in buildings.
The HC Mini Omega® Joint
The HC Mini Omega® joint, available in 2 or 3 mm thick, is suitable as a day-joint bulkhead. No dowels, wood forms or any such anciallary items are required, which can save on labor and time as well. Concrete can be placed on either side or on both sides on the same day, thus avoiding checkerboarding and having the potential to save on schedule. The profile incorporates the omega continuous load transfer. Even though the joint can open far greater, it is recommended that the subject floor/pavement be designed so that anticipated joint opening does not exceed 10 mm. Steel grade is S235JRG2 natural cold-rolled steel. Other material types are hot-galvanized, aluminum, and stainless steel 304.
